My childhood friend is an elementary school teacher that comes up with ways to help motivate children to become good students and aim for college when they’re old enough.
Each year she tries to get people to raise money so she can print t-shirts of a college for the kids to try and aim for to get into. It allows the students to feel they are a part of something, and it’s one of the many things she has done for her school to see a rise in grades.
So for this year’s class she asked me to turn a college symbol/insignia into a typography design that describes what the students are working for, and will experience.
As a thank you for making the design, the entire class wrote me letters, which I spent the entire week responding to.
I am tired! I hope I didn’t leave any kid out.
