Did you know Donkey Kong was originally going to be a licensed Popeye game? Well things didn’t go as planned, and rather than scrapping the project, Nintendo decided to make a game with Donkey Kong, Pauline, and Mario (Jumpman?)
Imagine how fun(ny) the world would’ve been if we had Popeye Golf, Super Smash Sailors, and Popeye’s Galaxy instead.

Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman’s podcast, Hollywood Babble-On has been one of my favorite podcasts ever since the first episode.

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I kept a comic journal during Hurricane Sandy. For every day starting the Saturday before Halloween, I drew a 3 panel journal comic strip.
I was very lucky. Many, many people around the area are not. Just the same, I thought it would be interesting to doodle what I personally experienced during it all.
Here’s Thursday.
I think I’ll wrap this up in one or two more strips.

This one took a while, but I have been asked to make this one for a while now. I tried to leave the quality of the image a bit higher than normal, so you can try and read what I put in his hair. But you know, sometimes I worry that people would try and snatch something like this at too high a resolution, and say it’s their own.
But I guess that’s the world for you. And I couldn’t NOT share this. So enjoy :)
